TIGER ENCOUNTERS

 

This extraordinary experience for our guests is made possible through a partnership with the Marcan Tiger Preserve in Ponce de Leon, Florida. Dr. Marcan loves the way we socialize our animals so his cubs come to us to be hand raised, bottle fed, and socialized. By allowing guests to engage with the cubs we are not only socializing the cubs, but sharing our love for wildlife and educating others about conservation. 

 

At this time we do not have cubs with us, but we never know when Mother Nature will deliver! We will announce any infomration about upcoming arrivals here and also on our Facebook page. Encounters will be available by reservation only at scheduled times throughout the day and can accommodate up to four individuals per time slot and will be filled accordingly. All reservations must be made by phone or in person during regular business hours (9am-4pm) and will require a credit card to hold the reservation, but will not be charged until your encounter date.

 

Pricing is $25 + tax for children ages 4 - 12, and $50 + tax for adults, PLUS the cost of regular zoo admission. Children ages 4-12 must be accompanied by a paying adult.

 

PLEASE NOTE:

 

• To ensure a safe and fun encounter socks, closed toe shoes, and long pants are required.

• As young cubs grow, their size and activity level are considered to ensure every encounter is a safe one for both you and the tigers. We reserve the right to make any changes to the schedule that we see fit.

• We reserve ther right to make last minute decisions regarding group size and location in order to make the encounters fun, safe, and enjoyable for our guests, our handlers, and our cubs.

• Pregnant women are not allowed to participate in the Tiger Encounters.
